Job Summary
Managing complex provider contracts and negotiations, the full-time Provider Contracting Specialist will build relationships with healthcare providers and collaborate with internal teams to support network management and strategic initiatives while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manages complex contracting and negotiations for fee-for-service and value-based reimbursements with hospitals and providers
- Builds and nurtures provider partnerships while identifying broader value-based business opportunities
- Prepares and analyzes financial impacts of contracts and ensures accurate implementation and administration through collaboration with internal partners
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Three to five years of managed care or healthcare reimbursement experience in a health system, consulting firm, or managed care payor
- Strong financial analytics and contracting background with experience in healthcare utilization and operational data analysis
- Demonstrated experience with payment methodologies and network management for various provider types
- At least 2-3 years as a Strategic Reimbursement & Contracting Analyst with prior contract negotiation experience
