Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Provider Correspondence Coordinator, the position will manage responses to medical provider correspondence and appeals related to claims processing and benefit inquiries.
Key responsibilities
- Responds to provider appeals and related correspondence
- Interacts with physician/provider offices to gather information on claim disputes
- Performs total claim reviews to determine over/underpayment on problem claims
Required qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- 6 months to 2 years of medical claims processing or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Facets and computer applications such as Word and Excel
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm and maintain 10 key proficiency of 105 spm
- Ability to read and interpret contracts and apply company policies and procedures
