Job Summary
Ensuring that all licensed massage therapists and behavioral therapists meet necessary standards, the full-time remote Provider Credentialing Specialist will manage the verification of licensure, documentation, and training requirements while maintaining compliance across multiple U.S. states.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct primary source verification of medical credentials, certifications, and background checks for new provider applicants
- Maintain and update provider records in credentialing systems and databases in accordance with internal policies and HIPAA standards
- Communicate directly with providers to request missing documentation and provide updates on credentialing status
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in credentialing, compliance, provider enrollment, or healthcare administration
- Familiarity with provider credentialing processes and standards (e.g., NCQA, URAC, state board licensure, NPDB)
- Proficiency with credentialing systems, Google Workspace, and project tracking tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation across high volumes and multiple deadlines
- Eligibility to work in the US (no work visa sponsorship available)
