Provider Engagement Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting provider data accuracy, the full-time Provider Engagement Specialist will manage day-to-day operations related to provider setup in the information system, ensuring compliance for state reporting and claims payment in a remote role based in Florida.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to external provider representatives to resolve data issues and demographic changes
• Track, update, and audit provider data while maintaining spreadsheets for provider directories
• Facilitate provider education and orientations, including webinars and training sessions

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred
• Three years of experience in a managed care environment, medical provider office, or customer service within a healthcare organization
• Experience in claims processing, billing, and/or coding
• Knowledge of healthcare, managed care, Medicare, or Medicaid
