Job Summary
To support the proactive enrollment of healthcare practitioners, the full-time Provider Enrollment Coordinator will manage the submission of credentialing applications for government programs and commercial payers while working remotely with occasional onsite training in St. Louis, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Identifying denial trends and collaborating with the team for root cause analysis and process improvement
- Preparing and submitting government credentialing applications for enrolling and re-enrolling healthcare practitioners with Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers
- Coordinating with managed care staff to ensure timely enrollment of providers with contracted commercial payers
Required qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of relevant work experience
- At least one year of experience in provider enrollment and credentialing
- Experience with ECHO or Credential Stream software preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as frequent lifting and data entry
- Candidates must reside in the St. Louis, MO region
