Provider Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the temporary remote Provider Enrollment Specialist will prepare and submit provider enrollment applications for various payer programs, monitor application approvals, and manage daily administrative duties while working independently.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and scan approximately 1,000 provider enrollment applications annually for various payer programs
• Monitor submitted applications to ensure timely approvals and communicate with the billing team
• Serve as a liaison between providers, billing companies, and payer representatives to resolve enrollment issues

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma with relevant work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-4 years of related healthcare experience required; 3+ years preferred
• Knowledge of billing or reimbursement processes and provider enrollment is desired
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Salesforce and online enrollment systems
• Ability to manage time effectively and interact with various stakeholders in a professional manner
