Provider Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

To support healthcare transformation, the temporary remote Provider Enrollment Specialist will manage the preparation and submission of approximately 1,000 provider enrollment applications annually for various payer programs while ensuring timely approvals and efficient workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit provider enrollment applications, ensuring compliance with audit standards
• Monitor application statuses and communicate approvals to the billing team to prevent delays
• Serve as a liaison between providers, billing companies, and payers to resolve enrollment issues

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma with relevant work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-4 years of related healthcare experience required, with 3+ years preferred
• Knowledge of billing or reimbursement processes and provider enrollment is desired
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with online Medicare/Medicaid enrollment systems and state regulations
