Provider Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

To support healthcare transformation, the remote Provider Enrollment Specialist will manage the preparation, submission, and monitoring of provider enrollment applications for various payer programs while ensuring compliance and effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders on a temporary basis for 9-12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit approximately 1,000 provider enrollment applications annually, ensuring an error rate of less than 10% through diligent auditing
• Monitor and communicate the status of submitted applications to the billing team, aiming to resolve pending applications within six months
• Serve as a liaison between providers, billing companies, and payer representatives to address and resolve enrollment issues effectively

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2-4 years of relevant healthcare experience; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Knowledge of billing or reimbursement processes and provider enrollment experience is desired
• Proficiency in Salesforce, including data management and reporting capabilities
• Familiarity with online Medicare/Medicaid enrollment systems and related compliance regulations
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote environment
