Provider Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

To support the credentialing process, the full-time Provider Enrollment Specialist will manage the economic credentialing and enrollment of medical billing providers and facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Guide providers through the credentialing/enrollment and recredentialing/revalidation process in collaboration with hiring personnel
• Develop and maintain a credentialing/enrollment database to monitor active statuses among managed care payers and governmental plans
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to track registration processes and communicate status updates to prevent revenue loss

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of healthcare industry experience
• Experience in professional billing, physician's office, or credentialing is preferred
• Basic understanding of managed care contracting and credentialing policies
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications
