Provider Licensing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Provider Licensing Specialist to oversee the licensing process and ensure regulatory compliance for Care Team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage documentation and assist providers with state licenses, DEA certifications, and onboarding
• Track application progress and resolve licensing issues through collaboration
• Complete credentialing applications with payors and maintain relationships with payor communities

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare provider licensing, contracting, or credentialing
• Relevant experience with state licensing applications
• Understanding of the impact of licensing and credentialing on billing and contracts
• At least 1 year of remote work experience
• Experience with state board licensing for nurse practitioners is strongly preferred
