Provider Reimbursement Director

Job Summary

Leading provider reimbursement and prepay editing initiatives, the full-time virtual Provider Reimbursement Director will develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies, manage cross-functional collaborations, and drive standardized methodologies to enhance reimbursement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement provider reimbursement strategies and prepay editing initiatives across the enterprise
• Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement best practices for managing costs and reimbursements
• Facilitate communication of reimbursement policy updates and emerging trends across all units

Required qualifications

• BS/BA degree in a related field
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in provider reimbursement and contracting
• Strong knowledge of reimbursement methodologies and claims editing practices
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within complex healthcare organizations
• Professional coding certification such as CPC, CCS, or RHIT is preferred
