Provider Relations Representative

Job Summary

Provider Relations Representative is a temporary, hourly position responsible for serving as the first point of contact for provider inquiries, resolving claims issues, and assisting with network recruitment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to provider inquiries and resolve claims issues with exceptional service
• Update provider demographic information and assist in recruitment projects
• Prepare documents for credentialing and monitor provider complaints and grievances

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate's Degree is preferred
• Three or more years of customer service and administrative experience
• Previous healthcare experience in a managed care environment is preferred
• Experience in provider relations or customer service is preferred
• Understanding of vision care insurance is a plus
