Provider Relations Representative

Job Summary

Supporting the Upstate New York provider network, the full-time Provider Relations Representative will manage provider contracts, assist with credentialing and claims, and foster positive relationships with providers while working remotely with occasional travel to provider offices.

Key responsibilities

• Assists with creating and negotiating provider contracts and amendments, including recruitment and credentialing
• Prepares educational materials for providers regarding contract terms and service coordination
• Maintains provider relationships through regular visits and communication of administrative changes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent related work experience, preferably in a health care setting
• Minimum one year of health care experience required
• Prior experience in Provider Relations and contracting preferred
• Knowledge of government programs, including Medicare and Medicaid preferred
