Provider Relations Supervisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Supervisor, Provider Relations to supervise and coordinate the operations of the provider relations department.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day workflow of provider relations in compliance with policies and guidelines
• Train staff on policies and procedures, and respond to emergent provider issues
• Plan and participate in meetings with providers and assist in claims payment and provider setup issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in provider relations, marketing, customer service, or claims processing in a managed care environment
• Supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred
• Dental provider experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of managed care and state Medicaid program guidelines
