Provider Scheduling Specialist

Job Summary

To support multi-site urgent care operations, the full-time remote Provider Scheduling Specialist will manage the strategic development and optimization of provider schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and operational efficiency while balancing patient demand and provider availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the creation, maintenance, and optimization of provider schedules across multiple urgent care sites
• Ensure appropriate provider coverage aligned with patient volume forecasts and operational needs
• Proactively manage schedule adjustments related to callouts, PTO, and staffing gaps

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare scheduling or workforce management, preferably in multi-site healthcare
• Strong proficiency with scheduling systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently
• Understanding of healthcare staffing models or urgent care operations strongly preferred
