Job Summary
Providing comprehensive support to healthcare providers, the full-time remote Provider Support Specialist will manage inquiries regarding network enrollment, claims submissions, and technology troubleshooting while ensuring effective communication and assistance within the Helpdesk operations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide coverage of the Provider Network Helpdesk phone and assist providers with credentialing and EHR navigation
- Respond to provider inquiries via phone, email, and written communication while documenting interactions accurately
- Maintain departmental resources and assist in administrative tasks, including managing provider specialty lists and insurance tracking databases
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with three years of office experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Business or a closely related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in customer service within a healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of computerized record-keeping techniques and state regulations related to enrollment
- Ability to work independently and maintain effective working relationships
