Provisioning Engineer
Job Summary
Driving high-volume server activation, the full-time remote Provisioning Engineer will execute end-to-end server onboarding, build automation scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Vultr's global cloud infrastructure expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end server onboarding, including initial imaging and firmware updates
- Build and improve automation scripts and provisioning pipelines to enhance efficiency
- Track onboarding metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Linux systems administration or infrastructure operations
- Strong Bash scripting skills with experience in automation script development
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals including networking and command-line tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
