Psychiatric Physician Assistant

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, the full-time Psychiatric Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management for patients with eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management for patients with eating disorders
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to implement medication treatment plans and evaluate medical risks related to eating disorders
• Engage in treatment team meetings and utilize messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team

Required qualifications

• Board Certification as a Psychiatric Physician Assistant
• Active license to practice in relevant states or willingness to obtain licensure in additional states
• Experience treating patients with eating disorders and related psychiatric conditions
• Commitment to providing evidence-based care and professional development
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and their caregivers
