Psychiatry Behavioral Health Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Psychiatry Behavioral Health Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and clinical treatment to complex members in a value-based care environment
• Collaborate with care teams and community service providers to coordinate services and support member action plans
• Contribute to the development and implementation of behavioral health clinical programming and continuously improve the quality of care provided to members

Required Qualifications:

• Board-certified Psychiatrist with an unrestricted license to practice
• More than 3 years of experience providing direct mental health treatment
• No restrictions on providing care to Medicaid patients
• Experience working within an interdisciplinary team and managing patients with complex needs
• Passion for improving care delivery and utilizing technology to support work
