Psychology Dissertation Chair

Job Summary

To support a diverse adult student body, the part-time Psychology Dissertation Chair will provide timely feedback to students, maintain an inclusive learning environment, and collaborate with faculty to ensure program quality, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on assessment activities
• Maintain a positive and inclusive student-centric learning environment
• Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services for support

Required qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field, with a PhD preferred
• Research-based, scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals required
• Experience with online education delivery and supporting systems required
• Experience as a member of a dissertation committee, preferably as chair/advisor required
• Content expertise in areas such as trauma or substance use/addictions preferred
