Job Summary

Leading and supporting the design and execution of quantitative studies, the remote Associate Scientist/Scientist, Psychometrics will collaborate with clients on measurement development and validation, focusing on clinical outcome assessments within the Health Economics and Outcomes Research consulting practice.

Key responsibilities
  • Designing, analyzing, and reporting on interventional and non-interventional studies evaluating clinical outcome assessments
  • Leading advanced psychometric analyses and advising on COA-focused strategies for client interactions with regulatory agencies
  • Developing study documents, technical reports, and regulatory briefing packages while building relationships with clients and stakeholders
Required qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral-level degree in biostatistics, psychometrics, quantitative psychology, or a related field
  • Knowledge of advanced psychometric methods, including factor analysis and item response theory
  • Experience with statistical software and fluency in at least one programming language, preferably R
  • Experience in clinical outcomes assessments and familiarity with regulatory submissions
  • Proven ability to mentor and support less-experienced analysts is desirable
