Psychometrician
Job Summary
Supporting the psychometric operations and research activities for language assessments, the full-time Psychometrician will analyze data, design psychometric tools, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while working remotely with occasional travel to Madison, WI.
Key responsibilities
- Analyzes and proposes solutions to psychometric data issues, communicating findings to stakeholders
- Designs and implements tools to assess learner ability and enhance educational outcomes
- Serves as a subject matter expert, disseminating technical psychometric concepts to diverse audiences
Required qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in psychometrics theory, research, and statistics
- Experience with data manipulation and statistical analyses using software such as Winsteps, SAS, or R
- Familiarity with multistage adaptive testing and IRT models
- Ability to write technical and research reports
- Experience collaborating with external vendors or partners
