Job Summary
To support a large K-12 state assessment program, the remote full-time Psychometrician II will manage projects through product implementation and evaluation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply psychometric knowledge to the design, development, and evaluation of assessments.
Key responsibilities
- Manage projects related to the implementation and evaluation of assessments
- Represent the department to senior management and technical advisory committees
- Design and implement psychometric studies to support new product development
Required qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in education, measurement, statistics, evaluation, or a relevant field with a minimum of 4 years of experience
- Knowledge of CAT design, IRT, and proficiency with statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, R, Python)
- Understanding of test content alignment to state standards
- Project management skills with an emphasis on technical design and implementation of educational tests
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
