Public Affairs Lead

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Public Affairs Lead to serve as the primary voice and relationship manager for IFS across the U.S. policy landscape, responsible for monitoring policy developments, engaging with government stakeholders, and positioning the company in technology policy debates.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze federal and state legislative and regulatory developments impacting technology policy areas
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across federal agencies and state government bodies
• Assist in managing relationships with influential global institutions and cultivate partnerships with think tanks and academic organizations

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or related roles focused on technology policy
• Proven experience engaging with federal agencies and congressional offices
• Track record of building relationships with think tanks, NGOs, and academic institutions
• Strong understanding of technology issues such as AI, data governance, and cybersecurity
• Exceptional judgment and diplomacy in navigating politically sensitive situations
