Job Summary

To shape policy and elevate influence across government and academia, the full-time Public Affairs Lead will monitor legislative developments, engage with key stakeholders, and manage relationships with institutions while operating in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze federal and state legislative and regulatory developments impacting technology policy
• Build and manage relationships with government stakeholders and coordinate interactions on behalf of the organization
• Assist in managing partnerships with influential institutions and position the organization as a thought leader

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in government affairs or public policy, focusing on technology policy and regulatory affairs
• Proven experience engaging with federal agencies and congressional offices
• Track record of building relationships with think tanks, NGOs, and academic institutions
• Strong understanding of technology issues such as AI, data governance, and cybersecurity
• Exceptional judgment and diplomacy in politically sensitive situations
