Job Summary

A company is looking for a Public Affairs Manager to engage with external stakeholders to enhance public safety in communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with local elected officials, grassroots organizations, and community leaders to build partnerships
• Represent the company at city council meetings and other public forums to advocate for policy objectives
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to elevate community voices and support public safety initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Experience in the tech industry is preferred
• Direct experience with public affairs at the local executive level
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work long hours as needed
• Public policy, business, or relevant degree/experience
• Preexisting network of relationships in the region is a strong plus
