Job Summary

A company is looking for a Public Affairs Manager to engage with external stakeholders to enhance public safety in communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with local elected officials, grassroots organizations, and community leaders to build partnerships
• Represent the company at city council meetings and other public forums
• Develop and implement strategies to advance policy objectives related to public safety

Required Qualifications

• Experience in public affairs at the local executive level
• Background in the tech industry is preferred
• Strong understanding of the regional political landscape
• Public policy, business, or relevant degree/experience
• Preexisting relationships with community organizations is a plus
