Public Affairs Volunteer

Job Summary

Public Affairs Volunteer is a part-time, unpaid position focused on supporting a social media project for U.S. leadership at the International Telecommunication Union, requiring 8-20 hours of volunteer work per week for a minimum of 90 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of a three-part social media campaign for U.S. elections at the International Telecommunication Union
• Coordinate communication strategies to ensure campaign uniqueness while maintaining consistency
• Assist the team in achieving project goals aligned with U.S. Federal missions

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National studying in the U.S
• Enrolled at least half-time in an accredited educational institution
• Minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Experience in graphics design, creative writing, and social media
• Must complete all required onboarding documentation and commit to the volunteer schedule
