Public Cloud Architect

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Public Cloud Solutions Architect, the successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, transforming business goals into cloud architecture, leading migration and modernization efforts, and mentoring other architects while ensuring alignment with client needs across major public cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery and assessment workshops, building business cases and total cost of ownership models for cloud solutions
• Design landing zones, networking, identity, data, and application patterns, and lead implementation teams to deliver secure and well-architected solutions
• Mentor other architects and consultants, establishing reference architectures and delivery standards while driving innovation in AI and automation capabilities

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in designing and delivering enterprise IT solutions, with at least 4 years focused on public cloud architecture
• Hands-on solutions architecture experience with at least one major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and familiarity with a second
• Proven track record in leading cloud migration and modernization programs, including large-scale workload migrations
• Strong command of core cloud domains such as compute, storage, networking, identity management, and cloud security
• At least one current associate- or professional-level cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect)
