Job Summary
To support public health initiatives, the remote Public Health Analyst I will review and identify responsive documents for PII, PHI, and other sensitive information while collaborating with various stakeholders to address FOIA inquiries.
Key responsibilities
- Identify content protected by FOIA exemptions and Assurance of Confidentiality
- Collaborate with DHQP SMEs and the CDC FOIA Office to resolve FOIA concerns
- Assist the DHQP FOIA Team during response activities and training exercises
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a public health field
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- Demonstrated responsibility and leadership in a public health or related program
- Knowledge of rules and principles governing program development and evaluation
