Public Health Analyst II
Job Summary
Providing public health support for NHSN dialysis event data management, the remote Public Health Analyst II will offer technical expertise, conduct user outreach, and manage data validation projects to improve data quality and usability.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and consultation to dialysis provider groups and health departments regarding NHSN Dialysis Event module usage
- Create and manage NHSN data validation projects to enhance data quality and usability for prevention efforts
- Prepare and present educational trainings about NHSN, while developing communication materials to promote HAI prevention strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field
- Previous experience working with government procedures and guidelines
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance
- Advanced use of Adobe and Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
