Public Health Cloud Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time, remote Public Health Cloud Architect, who will lead the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions for public health, establish cloud architecture standards, and collaborate with domain experts to enhance data management and interoperability.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of cloud-native solutions supporting public health and social policy domains
• Establish and promote cloud architecture standards and practices to improve delivery consistency and operational excellence
• Design and implement interoperability solutions using healthcare data standards to enable secure and scalable data exchange

Required qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing solutions using AWS services such as HealthLake, S3, and Lambda
• Hands-on experience implementing FHIR-based solutions and transforming healthcare data using standards like FHIR and HL7
• Experience designing data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, or warehouses
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Experience developing applications using Python or other modern programming languages
