Public Health Consultant

Job Summary

To support the implementation of the Bloomberg Philanthropies Data for Health Initiative, the full-time remote Public Health Consultant will provide technical cooperation for the monitoring and reporting of activities related to Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) systems, ICD-11 implementation, and digital health solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support project planning, implementation, and monitoring, including preparation of technical summaries and donor reports
• Facilitate coordination of CRVS, ICD-11, and digital health activities through workshops and training sessions
• Strengthen administrative coordination by maintaining organized project documentation and facilitating logistical planning for technical cooperation activities

Required qualifications

• University degree in Public Health, International Development, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in international cooperation, project coordination, and monitoring
• Knowledge of health information systems, digital health, CRVS, or data management is desirable
• Very good knowledge of English and Spanish; basic knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is a plus
• Training or certification in Project Management Methodologies is preferred
