Public Health Program Chair

Job Summary

To lead the Master of Public Health (MPH) program, the full-time remote Program Chair will manage faculty recruitment, oversee student enrollment, and ensure program compliance with accreditation standards while teaching up to 12 credits per academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with CEPH accreditation and lead program review processes
• Manage day-to-day operations of the program, including course scheduling and faculty performance
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty while fostering a supportive and diverse academic environment

Required qualifications

• Doctoral degree (DrPH, Ph.D., MD, or equivalent) in public health or a closely related field
• MPH degree or equivalent graduate training in public health
• Minimum three years of academic administration experience with undergraduate or graduate students
• Strong scholarly background in research, publications, and program assessments
• Demonstrated understanding of CEPH accreditation standards and processes
