Job Summary
Supporting the execution of small projects and components of larger initiatives, the on-call Public Health Project Manager will coordinate project activities, track deliverables, and maintain documentation to ensure alignment with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services standards, while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity for candidates located near specific offices.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure day-to-day project functions adhere to client and organizational guidelines
- Contribute to project work plans and timelines, prioritizing tasks in coordination with the project director
- Monitor project budgets and assist in preparing budget expense reports and performance tracking systems
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social services, public health, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in human services or public health
- Experience supporting projects or programs under HHS, ACF, or OHS
- Basic understanding of project management best practices and methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and various project management platforms
