Job Summary
To support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the full-time remote Public Health Research Analyst will develop SAS programs, conduct geospatial and molecular HIV analysis using R, and collaborate with other analysts to ensure data quality and dissemination.
Key responsibilities
- Develop SAS programs for validating surveillance, clinical, or research study data and ensure dataset integrity
- Conduct geospatial and molecular HIV analysis, interpreting results and supporting data dissemination to partners
- Collaborate with federal partners and other analysts to enhance data management and reporting processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in public health, statistics, or a related field
- 2 years of experience working with R or SAS
- Strong experience with SAS and familiarity with R coding
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and assess data quality from multiple sources
- Must be able to obtain a NAC clearance
