Public Health Technical Expert

Job Summary

Leading the development and delivery of high-quality training and technical assistance, the remote Technical Expert I will design curricula, conduct needs assessments, and facilitate tailored training sessions in public and behavioral health domains.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and deliver training and technical assistance tailored to audience needs through various modalities
• Develop high-quality written products and training materials with minimal supervision, ensuring content meets quality expectations
• Conduct research and needs assessments to translate findings into effective technical assistance solutions for grantees

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in social services, public health, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience with applied expertise in a specific public or behavioral health area
• Demonstrated ability to design adult-learning-aligned curricula and facilitate engaging training sessions
• Fluency in English, both oral and written
• Solid grounding in Microsoft 365 and current public health topics
