Public Policy Director

Job Summary

To drive impactful policy initiatives, the full-time Head of Public Policy will manage the development of policy positions and engage with public officials and regulators on critical topics related to finance, digital economy, and blockchain, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Paxos' public policy strategies and positions on relevant matters
• Represent Paxos in industry associations and collaborate with stakeholders to advance meaningful initiatives
• Oversee regulatory applications and engage with regulators to ensure compliance and foster relationships

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working with senior policymakers, regulators, and agencies
• In-depth expertise in finance and fintech policy issues
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional executives in a fast-paced environment
• Strong skills in strategic thinking and execution
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and communicate them effectively both verbally and in writing
