Job Summary
Serving as a part-time Online Adjunct Professor, the Public Policy Dissertation Chair will administer dissertation courses, provide mentorship and feedback to students, and maintain academic records in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Administer dissertation courses according to the assigned schedule
- Provide detailed feedback and mentorship to students to foster intellectual and spiritual growth
- Maintain communication with students regarding academic achievement, attendance, and behavior while reporting grades in compliance with university policies
Required qualifications
- PhD or similar terminal degree in Government, Political Science, Public Policy, or related disciplines from an accredited institution
- Prior experience serving on dissertation or capstone committees
- Strong organizational skills for timely completion of assignments and tasks
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and online Learning Management Systems
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
