Job Summary
A company is looking for a Public Relations Coordinator to support the execution of their public relations strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary internal coordinator for PR deliverables, ensuring timelines and materials are shared with the agency partner
- Maintain and update a centralized PR calendar, coordinating with the agency to prepare necessary documents for media opportunities
- Track media coverage and assist in editing press releases and internal communications as needed
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (internship experience considered)
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines simultaneously
- Ability to coordinate across stakeholders and follow up proactively to keep projects moving
- Interest in education, workforce development, or mission-driven organizations preferred
