Job Summary
Dynamic and ambitious, the full-time remote Public Relations Specialist will actively pitch journalists, draft high-impact media materials, and manage customer storytelling initiatives while serving as a spokesperson for a high-growth consumer brand portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Draft press releases, pitch emails, and other media materials while building and maintaining a robust network of media relationships
- Manage the customer case-study and brand ambassador program, ensuring participants are media-ready and matching them with journalist requests
- Serve as an authorized spokesperson and support executive visibility by drafting briefing materials and coordinating public appearances
Required qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a PR agency, corporate communications team, or fast-paced newsroom
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of securing media placements across consumer outlets
- Exceptional writing and narrative development skills with a portfolio of external-facing work
- High AI fluency and proficiency with PR tech stacks and project management software
