Public Relations Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Public Relations Specialist / Team Lead (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead team performance and ensure quality assurance for professional work products
• Provide research, planning, and implementation support for communication guidance and plans
• Write, edit, and proofread communication products, including news articles and newsletters

Required Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of experience in communication strategies for government programs or similar entities
• BA/BS in a relevant field; MA/MS preferred
• Experience with the Associated Press (AP) Stylebook; familiarity with Coast Guard style guide preferred
• Knowledge of Section 508 Compliance requirements
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance; U.S. Coast Guard experience highly preferred
