Job Summary
To support the educational journey of Doctor of Public Safety and Leadership students, the part-time Adjunct Faculty Member will teach courses online, mentor students through their Capstone projects, and engage in scholarly activities while maintaining availability for student support.
Key responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses using the eCollege platform and provide timely feedback and grades to students
- Serve as a Faculty Mentor, offering academic guidance and support to students throughout their Capstone projects
- Contribute to practitioner-scholar learning by integrating professional experience and research into course content
Required qualifications
- Earned doctoral degree in Public Safety, Criminal Justice, Leadership, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated professional experience in public safety, leadership, or a related field
- 3+ years of teaching experience at the degree level is preferred
- 2+ years of online or technology-enabled instruction experience
- Experience guiding students through Capstone project development and implementation
