Public Sector Account Executive

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Public Sector Account Executive (Mid-Atlantic).

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities within assigned accounts and expand into new state purchasing contracts
• Achieve sales targets by executing effective sales activity plans
• Collaborate with partners to create and execute account plans that drive customer success

Required Qualifications

• Proven track record of exceeding new business sales targets, preferably in IT sales
• Degree-level education preferred but not required
• Understanding of Public Sector contracts, buying cycles, and procurement processes
• Experience in both Direct and Indirect sales roles is highly desirable
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to align solutions with customer needs
