Job Summary
As a full-time Public Sector Account Executive, the candidate will manage relationships with state and local government agencies, focusing on account planning, client management, and driving value creation while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing clients and establish new connections within the public sector
- Lead strategic account planning and execution to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to guide product direction and improve the overall customer experience
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software sales experience, with at least 5 years in the state and local government market
- Strong relationships with government agencies, higher education institutions, and solutions partners
- Deep knowledge of government contracts and procurement processes
- Experience in customer-first SaaS organizations with a consultative sales approach
- Proficiency in CRM, pipeline management, and analytic tools
