Key responsibilities
- Lead engagement with government bodies on AI governance, safety, and related topics
- Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry associations
- Monitor and analyze emerging regulations impacting the company and provide strategic counsel to leadership
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in public and private sector policy roles, focusing on AI and technology
- Strong knowledge of the regional AI policy landscape and related governance issues
- Demonstrated success in influencing policy outcomes and coalition building
- Public policy experience across Canada
- Fluency in English and French
