Public Trust Appian Lead Developer

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of complex case management and workflow automation solutions, the full-time remote Public Trust Appian Lead Developer will drive development initiatives, integrate AI capabilities, and ensure compliance with security standards in a federal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage development initiatives and lead small-to-medium development teams in delivering enterprise-grade applications
• Implement AI-driven capabilities to enhance business processes and workflow automation
• Ensure compliance with federal security standards and regulations, including FISMA and NIST

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 7+ years of hands-on Appian development experience, including design and implementation of applications using Appian 17.x or later
• 3+ years in a technical lead or senior developer role, with experience in federal or highly regulated environments
• Proficiency in SQL/Relational Databases and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
