Job Summary
Leading cloud-focused security operations, the full-time Senior Cloud Technical Project Manager will oversee technical execution across cloud security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management while supporting the National Science Foundation in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Lead cloud security operations for NSF AWS environments, including triage, investigation, containment, and recovery
- Own Splunk Enterprise Security content and operations, including data onboarding and risk-based alerting
- Drive continuous monitoring and compliance alignment with federal requirements, supporting audits through repeatable evidence packages
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security operations, with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Hands-on experience securing and operating production cloud environments, preferably AWS or Azure
- Strong experience with SIEM operations, including log onboarding and investigative workflows
- Experience with cloud incident response and evidence handling
- Public Trust eligibility or ability to acquire a Public Trust
