Job Summary
Supporting the execution of the USDA's Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) processes, the full-time CPIC Analyst will conduct in-depth analyses, develop business cases, and assist in IT Portfolio Management, with the flexibility to work remotely upon obtaining a Public Trust clearance.
Key responsibilities:
- Develops and validates business cases and data supporting investment health and performance
- Analyzes spend plan and contract data to align investment projects accurately
- Compiles investment and acquisition data to enable data-driven decisions by management and senior leaders
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technology management, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in CPIC and/or IT Portfolio Management for a federal client
- Experience in the Acquisition Approval Request process, including drafting Cover Memos and analyzing spend plans
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of IT and Business stakeholders
