Public Trust Cyber Technical Architect

Job Summary

Providing strategic technical leadership, the full-time Public Trust Cyber Technical Architect will serve as a senior cybersecurity advisor to NIH leadership, focusing on the design and implementation of secure hybrid cloud and enterprise security architectures in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and modernization of NIH enterprise cybersecurity architecture while mentoring technical staff
• Conduct enterprise architecture reviews and provide technical guidance for cybersecurity modernization initiatives
• Develop secure architectural solutions and establish enterprise cybersecurity standards and technical roadmaps

Required qualifications

• Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressively responsible cybersecurity engineering and architecture experience
• Experience supporting Federal cybersecurity programs and implementing NIST cybersecurity frameworks
• Active certifications such as CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CCSP, or TOGAF
